ABSTRACT

Short reports, infographics, and summaries are some of the best ways to highlight evaluation results and apply them to create action steps for change and program improvement. Stakeholders are individuals who are engaged, supportive, and involved in a program and evaluation. Stakeholders can help plan how evaluation findings will be applied and disseminated during the early stages of evaluation planning. Evaluation reports, presentations, and communications will include data, often qualitative and quantitative. There are various software programs available for creating reports, ranging from Adobe InDesign, Lucid Press, and Pictochart to Microsoft Word or Publisher. Visual images are powerful ways to report the process or impact of a program. The primary reason for conducting a program evaluation is to ensure that a dissemination feedback loop exists, so that evaluation results are shared with stakeholders, who use the information to improve their programs and guide future planning efforts.
