Social Rights Recognised in International Law, in National Constitutions and Laws, and in Community Law

The basic aim of the first part of this report is to examine how the fundamental rights of workers appear in the national legislation of the Member States and in international instruments. ¹ The Report is concerned with social rights in general, as well, in particular, as rights enjoyed by workers or others associated with them, such as rights relating to social security or to protection in old age, generally associated with those who are or have been workers.
