ABSTRACT
Manufacturers of signs (see SIGNS, ENAMELLED) for transport, industry and advertising plaques. The output includes the making of novelty replicas of 19th- and early 20th-century 'poster style' enamelled signs now popularly collected as memorabilia. The replicas are of full-scale or miniaturized format and include those originally made to promote such products as Benz and other vintage cars, beverages, cigarettes and household appliances. London Transport symbols and City of Westminster street plates are made under licence.
