ABSTRACT
The best known and most influential Parisian designer of enamelled jewellery in the Art Nouveau style. He ceased his production of jewellery in 1913, subsequently working in glass. However, Lalique's innovative designs for enamelled ornaments were imitated by followers in his own time and his work continues to be a source of ideas for present-day jewellers.
