ABSTRACT
This chapter interprets the rampant phenomenon of trolling as disruptive reaction to the meaninglessness imposed by digital bureaucracy, as a form of nihilism in which the correspondence between signified thought and signifying word is less important than “the fun” that one proves at witnessing the jamming of social conversation.
