ABSTRACT
This chapter connects a philosophical reflection on the devaluation of the signifier in culture—and specifically in religion—with the emergence of post-secular temples, which retrieve some elements of the premodern spatial symbology of the sacred in order to host individual liturgies of consumption and meaning-making.
