ABSTRACT
The primitive symbols (I, K, 0) will preserve in the sequel the intuitive sense explained in the previous chapter. The properties of the entities denoted by these symbols which are important from the linguistic point of view or indispensable in developing the formal system of theoretical phonology will be specified by means of the axioms of the system.
