ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the concept of marginalisation from an ecological perspective, understood through the lens of resilience. The chapter then focusses on the wellbeing and education of children living in poverty, exploring the relationship between poverty and Adverse Childhood Experiences, illustrated through the Scottish policy context.
