ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the basic federal law under which pesticides are regulated. The discussion includes regulation of drift, registration of pesticides, state applicator regulation and certification, and the worker protection standard (WPS). Regulation of discharges of pesticides to surface waters protected under the Clean Water Act is discussed.
