ABSTRACT
Larry is 20 years old. He has lived in residential care since the age of 12 years because his mother, who lives on her own, was unable to cope with his behavioural difficulties. She is devoted to Larry, visits him regularly and, whenever possible, has him home for a day or a weekend or even a holiday. Larry currently attends a special needs group at his local Social Education Centre.
