ABSTRACT
Small in scope but large in impact, the abstract is a critical piece of the research study. It should grab reader attention and provide key elements of the study’s design, results, and applications for the wider world. This information, if published, is indexed by databases to help others find your study. This chapter explains how to write an effective abstract with key words. Examples are provided from quantitative content analysis studies.
