ABSTRACT
Across this Strand the focus has been on the language of organizations and institutions, and in particular, on the use of specialist registers by those institutions. The reading which accompanies this Strand in D2 looks specifically at bureaucracy as social control, and it fleshes out a number of the issues touched upon in B2. For now, here are some activities based around the issues raised in both A2 and B2.
