ABSTRACT
This chapter identifies resources for ethical practice. Many trauma-informed therapies include the development of resources for clients as an initial step in the treatment process. Using this as a model, participants are led through an exercise to identify resources for ethical practice. Participants will then choose one ethical resource and design an Ethical Resource Action Plan to ensure its implementation. Professionals may substitute appropriate wording on the Ethical Resource Questionnaire Handout and Ethical Resource Action Plan Handout For clients, modify handouts to fit client specific issues. Distribute the Ethical Resource Questionnaire Handout. Explain that the questions can be answered on the handout or in their journals.
