ABSTRACT

The Slippery Slope of Ethics is a board game for 6–24 people with opportunities to work in teams while problem-solving ethical dilemmas. This game is developed to allow for ample discussion of each dilemma. Two of the teams represent professionals abiding by Ethical Codes who are competing to reach the peak of the Ethical Mountaintop first. The third team represents the Ethics Board and decides whether the two competing teams can proceed up the Ethical Mountaintop based on their answers to the ethical dilemmas. Additional cards and instructions are provided in the game for other professionals and organizations to develop suitable ethical dilemmas. The Ethics Board team decides whether the two competing teams can proceed up the Ethical Mountaintop, or whether they need to make amends based on their answers to the ethical dilemmas. Blank cards are included with the game allowing participants to create additional ethical dilemmas suited to their settings.
