ABSTRACT

In the introduction to the book, the authors introduce the notion of interculturality and justify the need for this book. After a short historical review of interculturality in research and education, they maintain that there is a need to revise definitions of concepts and notions since they have an influence on the way scholars and educators ask and answer questions. The book structure is then presented (six chapters) as well as the three working methods that the authors have adopted (the travel of words, interdisciplinarity and dialogism).
