ABSTRACT

The conclusion summarises the authors’ discussions of the five essential questions about interculturality that they attempted to answer in the book: What to make of the notion of interculturality? Who was influential in the ways we understand interculturality? How does intercultural research and education influence experiences of interculturality? Can we prepare/get prepared for interculturality? What is the state of research on interculturality today? Concrete recommendations and principles are proposed about three vital aspects of interculturality in education: 1. Conceptualising, 2. Researching and 3. Preparing.
