ABSTRACT

Cervantes has one problem left to solve: how to end his book and get rid of its overly cumbersome hero who brought about all these miracles. Just as the curate discards the scenario he invented to bring the two brothers together, the author attempts to let go of the character he created. But Don Quixote has no intention to comply, and despite the fact that his father has reached a venerable age, being well over sixty, he will compel him to produce another five hundred pages, published ten years later, in 1615.
