ABSTRACT

This part conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters. The part explores the chronological unfolding of a narrativized theme: the relation between fascism and the category of perversion. It aims to clarify the multitude of theoretical configurations that operates in narratives that, either conspicuously or between the lines, associate fascism with the category of perversion. For Freudian leftist views, perversion is something inherent to the logic of capitalist commodity. Due to repression or suppression of the natural instinct, perverse sexuality is materialized in authoritarian irrational non-sexual practices. According to his narrative, fascism is grounded in the perverse expression of malformed biological instincts. From the early accounts of the exponents of the Frankfurt School and the psychoanalytic school to the works of contemporary thinkers in social theory, fascism was dissected in its diverse constituents.
