ABSTRACT
As different from homosexuals, adult transsexuals in their sexual practices do not exalt their own primary and secondary sex characteristics and demean those of the opposite sex. As with healthy heterosexuals, they truly appreciate the sexual attributes of both sexes, those of one sex to be parts of their own bodies and those of the other to be used as objects of their excitement. And so, if males, they get excited by men’s bodies (like homosexuals) and want the anatomy of females. To dismiss transvestites and transsexuals as being just “homosexuals” is to minimize their catastrophic aberrations in gender identity and to throw away the chance to study the differences that exist between them, admitted homosexuals, and people without such abnormalities. Physical examination revealed the presence of the abdominal structure exactly as the patient had described it, while demonstrating that she was biologically a completely normal female.
