ABSTRACT

The emergence of the hero is necessary to enable the ego to leave the endogamic, nurturing, and familiar world, which for centuries created the corporal identity of individuals, to face the exogamic world. The ego needs courage to face the challenges of the new epoch of consciousness. The hero connects cultures and organises civilisations, eliminating any obstacles. He integrates divinity, enabling it to become humanised within him as an individual. The process for creating the basis of self-knowledge emerges with the hero. The hero, capable of reflecting, transforms humanity into unique men and women. Every hero is unique and, as such, a manifestation of the systemic wisdom demanding that psychic awareness and identity be established. Developing psychic awareness is the primordial stage in the humanisation process. Psychic consciousness, understood as the individuality of the soul, will demand that it is looked after the unrestricted respect for its individuality.
