ABSTRACT
Every school, movement, or even a single thought develops in time; therefore, it is essential to take its history into consideration. It equally applies to the life of persons, groups, and communities. We all live in the real world that includes existence, and a moving force resulting in process, like becoming and passing away. Some people talk about instinct, others call it drive or motivation. Recently, we have been talking about the influence the genes have on the personality. Based on the instinct theories at his disposal, Freud created a psychology built around the single person. Psychoanalysis is about a hundred years old. In that time it not only was born, but also developed into a cultural phenomenon. Psychoanalysis did not develop in the direction of revolution. Love keeps us together; a bigger loving generality is needed to contain the outmoded smaller part. Change always occurs in a bigger permanent context.
