ABSTRACT
MATTI HARRIS: I don’t think I need to introduce Doctor Bion to most of you here. We are immensely privileged and delighted that he is able to continue his series of talks he gives around this time every year, giving us the opportunity to share his ongoing thinking and development—in so far as we are able. I think he would like me to emphasize again that he is utterly willing, and even eager, to be interrupted at any moment by any questions however “wild” they may be (as some people felt theirs were last time). Those of you who have had this experience will know that you will always get an unexpected answer which may seem extremely enigmatic, but afterwards may be very illuminating—and sometimes incredibly obvious.
