ABSTRACT
Anal function has a completely different phenomenology, because the anus not only produces faeces instead of children, but it is also capable of reversing its purpose and retaining its product, denying the possibility of time or space formation. Dreaming reveals to our consciousness a world of unconnected absurdities, completely free of time, space and symbolical logic, as opposed to the restriction of external reality. Women who have properly identified with their uterine function induce growth and differentiation, in spite of the implicit tragedy. When women get together, for instance, they might feel free to talk about their sexual experiences with men, how they perform in bed, size of their penis but very seldom will they utter a word about their masturbatory fantasies. During childhood, when the unconscious is just on the surface, fantasies play a determining role in the way children apprehend the universe which surrounds them.
