ABSTRACT
The idea for this book arose from the seminars that Tine Nørregaard and I have conducted together for a number of years now, convened under the title Psychoanalysis and the Child. It began from a question of what to do with the leftovers of our seminars, the notes we had made, and our ideas and ways of thinking about the child—ideas that we had generated through our work and talks together.
