ABSTRACT

This book describes the OpenStrategies system for seamlessly developing and refining strategic information from the initial collection of strategic ideas from end-users, through nine stages including strategy development, implementation, performance management and strategy review. Throughout the nine OpenStrategies stages, the focus is on what each stage needs to achieve in order to enable all the other eight stages and in particular the subsequent stage. The OpenStrategies system is based on PRUB-Logic, where PRUB represents the universal sequence:Projects create Results that enable and motivate Uses to create Benefits. The OpenStrategies system addresses the need for a start-to-finish strategy system that enables and motivates all stakeholders to develop and implement strategies in large and complex environments. PRUB exactly represents reality because it represents the universal role of organisations and their customers/clients/citizens which is to create assets (outputs) that people use to create outcomes.
