ABSTRACT
Stage 5 will produce a robust, defensible and prioritised set of SubStrategies that have been approved for investment. Ideally, each SubStrategy will be accompanied by a PRUB Validation Index which provides scores for the quality of the three elements of validation. Stage 5 consists of comparing multiple Validated SubStrategies and selecting those that best fit the investment criteria of the various decision makers. The PRUB-Logic approach in Stage 5 will enable and encourage subgroups to operate independently by implementing their own strategies. This chapter discusses what Stage 5 will achieve in order to support the other 8 stages. It presents a summary and explanation of the start-to-finish action sequence for Stage 5. The chapter demonstrates Stage 5 actions in the context of local government leading the redevelopment of a declining suburban Central Business District. It also provides information on the accountabilities in Stage 5.
