ABSTRACT
Eye makeup may be the most enjoyable makeup to apply, but with a wealth of colors and cosmetics available it is hard to determine the best products to use. “Eyes and Eyebrows” delves into the world of eyecare cosmetics, focusing not only on the different products available, but also on how colors and contour can change eye shape. Eyeshadow is more than just color. The chapter starts by identifying the purpose of eyeshadow for stage and how to use it to add dimension. The focus of the text moves to eyeliner by discussing the different products available and which to use in the best situations. Finally, the chapter concludes with eyebrows. Once again, different products garner different effects. Detailed photos showcase examples of gel liner, powder, pencil, and cake liner as well as identifying the best scenarios in which to use them. Eyebrow shape is also important and is discussed toward the end of the section.
