ABSTRACT
The epilogue re-centers how Palestinian clinicians think through rights to their own life and lives, their identity and selfhood, and their existence and proprietorship of the land of Palestine, as well as that of their patients. We use Arab literati to conclude this book in order to root the discussion of psychoanalysis in Palestine within a dynamic culture of willful resistance and self-affirmation. We conclude with a reminder from Palestinian clinicians who teach us that the Palestinian psyche/nafs is demarcated as an object and target of Zionist settler-colonial asphyxiation, but is also an embodied psyche from which resistance, willfulness, defiance, and affirmation arise.
