ABSTRACT
The Leŋge do not reckon in months as we do, but rather by the smaller seasons. The greater seasons of summer (malaŋga) and winter (vuʃika) are well defined, but there are no special terms for spring and autumn. I have collected these names of the smaller seasons from the older women. Most of the people have forgotten them.
