ABSTRACT
The grief and distress primeval shadow has implications beyond the obvious. Changing the dynamics of primeval shadow interplay is a key to providing the psychological safety that enables high performance. This is the first component of the heartfelt voice. Without a heartfelt voice, there can be no command voice. Take away the heartfelt voice, and command voice topples; take away the prosocial voice, and futurizing voice crashes down with it. The heartfelt voice encompasses the capabilities of unconditional positive regard, choice, integral listening, and being ruthless in selecting an inner circle. The first capability of the heartfelt voice is unconditional positive regard. Applying unconditional positive regard and integral listening skills will build the relationships that underpin a powerful heartfelt voice. The heartfelt voice is the leadership capability of creating a psychologically safe workplace, one where people feel valued and safe.
