ABSTRACT
Whenever engaging an enemy in battle, whether in mountain forests or on level terrain, you must occupy high ground and rely upon strategic configurations of terrain that are conducive to attacks and probes and will facilitate racing forward to assault the enemy, for then you will be victorious in combat. A tactical principle states: "In mountain combat, do not go counter to heights."
