ABSTRACT

Life in a city is really different from life in the countryside. People in a college are busier than farmers in a village. Apart from Saturdays and Sundays, and at mealtimes, my son and Xiao Luo had no time to be my companions. I taught children's English only three hours a week; I still had plenty of time left. I really didn't know how to organize a relaxing life on my own. It seemed that at the bottom of my heart I felt something was missing every day. I had become a sixtyish old man. What on earth could I do? At least living with Lujiang's family was a little better than being a henpecked husband at home in the village.
