Model {1): Electrons and atomic nuclei interacting
via Coulomb fo rce .
This is certain ly a microscopic model from which
almost all phenomena, including critical phenomena, can
be derived. But c lea r ly this model is not practical as a
starting' point in studying crit ica l phenomena.
