ABSTRACT
James Hilliard works at a fish-processing plant in Cedar Key, Florida, a small town on the Gulf Coast. His wife, Mary, works at a convenience
store. Late one afternoon, he stepped onto the porch to greet his children and collapsed with a seizure. Mary took him to the nearest hospital (90 miles away), where he remained for three days. He then spent several weeks recovering at home.
