ABSTRACT
Several discoveries in the teaching/learning body of knowledge have affected the authors’ teaching positively. These came to be included in our teaching storehouse through years of trial and error in the classroom. All human beings possess varying abilities in all intelligences. In teaching, remembering these areas, and offering learning opportunities in each will help bring success to the learners. Successful teachers, when planning a lesson, include activities in learning modalities to ensure the highest learning occurs in the classroom. Elliot Eisner has established himself as one of the foremost leaders of arts education and educational reform. The stages of cognitive development identified by Piaget, while associated with characteristic age spans, vary for every individual.
