ABSTRACT
On 25th May 2018 Harvey Weinstein was arrested in New York on the charges of rape and indecent assault (forcing a woman to perform fellatio on him). 1 He was handcuffed and led to a court in New York. In the photo there is an image of the female police detective Keri Thompson, in charge of the investigation into his offences, the woman who did not give up on getting enough evidence for this moment to take place: one of the tweets called her ‘badass’ – which was meant as a compliment. 2 There was one nasty woman who kept going to get this man who abused his power so horrendously and so sadly (given that he was one of the representatives of the ‘dream factory’, and co-founder of The Weinstein Company, a film studio involved in so many films we admire and love).
