ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the ways in which you may approach legal writing a little differently if you are to do this under exam conditions. This chapter will take you through the different types of law exams and the way this will affect your essay and problem question answers. These include seen and unseen examinations, open- and closed-book examinations, and in-person and take-home examinations. It provides some revision tips and also explains how marking and assessment criteria differ slightly in different contexts.
