ABSTRACT
The conditional (il condizionale) generally expresses hypothetical or imaginary events and situations, as well as events dependent on a condition. This form often corresponds to would, e.g. Would you go tomorrow? (simple conditional – il condizionale semplice), and would have, e.g. Would you have left so early? (perfect conditional – il condizionale composto).
