ABSTRACT

Continuous improvement and change management require a goal. A good goal motivates and provides energy, and involvement provides committed employees. There are several advantages to involving farmers' employees in setting goals: employees are more likely to work in a certain direction, and once they have been involved in setting the goal. Breaking down of goals into day-to-day goals is difficult. The main purpose of goal management is to provide and visualize information, which can be used when eliminating waste. The goal management board is the main tool. The manager and the employees had specified a goal of reducing accidents leading to illness and treatment to several cases a year. At the same time, they had decided on the contributions to reach the goal.
