ABSTRACT
We figure half-time or intermission is appropriate at this point. It wasn't easy to revisit our own personal hurdles while writing those first two chapters, so we realize it may have been intense reading them and reflecting on your own personal story, as well. However, we also hope you feel a sense of validation. As educators, we endure an exorbitant amount of pressure and carry a tremendous amount of responsibility. Yet, we are also people with a life outside our calling that presents its own set of challenges, so the whole scenario can feel like we are spinning a lot of plates.
