ABSTRACT

Every one of us is on a unique personal journey, so educators hope is that the self-care strategies are a springboard for student to find their strength, incredible value, and resilience for the journey. Many of the personal self-care strategies could be woven into the fabric of students' classroom or school setting with their students, as well. Modeling self-care strategies and incorporating them into the daily routine can be a wonderful way to position students to develop and practice a healthy attitude toward self and others, thus contributing positively to the overall culture. Empower to define students' responses, to categorize their feelings, and to draw strength from knowing that they are more than able to boss their triggers into submission. The rewards of acts of kindness are many. Acts of kindness help educators feel better and they help those who receive them.
