ABSTRACT

Reflective practice is a way of studying our own experiences and, in so doing, improving and developing our thinking and the way the people work with others. Reflective practice is extremely useful in helping us understand and learn how to extend our ability to learn in the future. The benefits of reflective practice include: developing a group reflective practice is a way of helping all individuals within the group share an experience and then reflect on their understanding of that experience, including their subsequent actions. Reflective group supervision takes from both reflective practice and supervision models to create a safe, trusted and informed space for the Wellbeing Champions to share, think and explore the work they have been undertaking. It is important for the WBC to understand that within group supervision it is useful to try not to name people but to focus on the interaction or event.
