ABSTRACT
Introduction
ISO9001 may be the most important management standard on the market. However, there are other international management standards and references that can be applied when building up a quality management system (QMS). This chapter briefly addresses a few examples; the ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards, both closely related to the ISO9001 standard, and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) excellence model.
