ABSTRACT
Armed with the more coherent and systematic statement on Social Evolution Paradigm (SEP), this chapter critically examines some important social theories with an evolutionary flavor to reveal their inadequacies and errors so that I can contrast them with the more valid evolutionary theorizing of human societies presented in chapter six. By doing so, I aim to showcase SEP’s explanatory power more forcefully.
