ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 describes the 99 Articles of the GDPR “in a nutshell”. Distilling the complex legal terminology in the legislation into terms that the reader will be able to work with. At the beginning of the chapter is a cross reference table of the Articles and recitals of GDPR. The 173 recitals of GDPR are used to interpret the articles and provide further insights into the function and purpose of each of the GDPR articles. Because these recitals are written in relatively easy to understand format they are not further explained in this book. The chapter is laid out in tabular form for easy reference. The various topics that the legislation covers are also cross refenced in the book table of contents and index.
