ABSTRACT
This chapter shows how and why there is a continued plundering of the world’s natural resources and case studies some of the most affected countries in Africa, the Middle and Far East from where are from some of the people I met during my study. Drawing on literature from green criminology and relevant literature/reports about climate change, the thrust of the chapter is to move forward from the flimsy conservative as well as liberal arguments that all this just marks an organic phase in the planets’ history and makes a more real and urgent case that the environment becomes our pressing concern. In doing so, it shows how man-made climate change directly causes people movement/displacement with a focus on Afghanistan.
