What is to be done about woman abuse in rural places? 1

This is the first scholarly book chapter to delineate a critical criminological blueprint for curbing both interpersonal forms of woman abuse and women’s experiences of crimes of the powerful in rural places. The following solutions are suggested: legal reforms, changing men and challenging patriarchal male peer support, better prevention and protection services for women, progressive economic policies, Indigenous initiatives, a left realist human rights approach, and community-based solution to corporate crime.
