ABSTRACT

Transformation can be changes in the physical character, the emotional character or the intelligence character of an entity, with very little retained from its past. Transformations occur in two forms – the inter-lifecycle transformations and the intra-lifecycle transformations. Whenever participating objects undergo transformation themselves, they reflect instances of intra-lifecycle transformations or change within their own lives. Generative transformations are always additive in nature. They are like connector-extensions that provide a seemingly seamless link from the act of dissolution of the old to the act of creation of the revolutionary new. There are innumerable examples of human transformation that owe their genesis to human gratitude or the will to make a difference to others. The human-machine continuum undoubtedly is the next step in generative transformation. Disruptive transformations are a near-exact opposite of generative transformations. The genesis of disruptive transformations is deeply rooted in the need for applying significant impulse to achieve scale.
