ABSTRACT

Whether the change is incremental or transformational, to manage it the team needs to continually assess and adjust objectives, processes and outcomes. This chapter reviews the process of change and monitoring of the outcomes to improve and make the changes stick. To manage change, it is necessary to examine potential risks and plan to respond, if risk-caused problems should occur. Quality should be defined so that all staff and volunteers are aware of the standards, and when exemplary work occurs, it should be reinforced. Finally, managing change requires evaluating and reporting results.

This chapter covers monitoring and managing change, assessing possible risk factors to create plans that will reduce risks, creating a plan to monitor and manage quality and evaluating the project and report results.
