ABSTRACT
This chapter revisits the simple representation of the main approaches to the description of the policy process provided in Table 2.1 and suggests ways that they may be updated on the basis of the developments in theory set out previously in Chapters 2–5. This includes observations on ways in which they may, to some extent, be integrated with each other. This discussion introduces some of the key themes to be explored further in the rest of the book.
